Dick’s qualifications as the Assistant Director of the UMD Center for Economic Development are many; among them are that he has been a business consultant for the past 20 years at CED, and he is an entrepreneur and small business owner.

Welcome to the Council of Academic Professionals and Administrators!

CAPA has been serving Professional and Administrative (P&A) staff since 1981. The organization consists of over 50 elected P&A representatives from almost all University units. CAPA represents all P&A staff in the governance process and is a powerful partner in promoting the University’s mission of teaching, research, and service.
